Reflections

We were outside playing with bubbles last night and as I was editing photos tonight I realized a couple of the photos had some fun reflections in the bubbles.  Needless to say, the boys had a great time and ran off a bunch of energy.  I just wish I had a wider angle lens to capture a bit more.  There wasn't a breeze so the boys were too close to me.  Besides it's hard to blow bubbles and take pictures at the same time.
Here is a tight crop of one of the bubbles.  The full pictures is below.  Don't mind the motion blur.  Needed a higher shutter speed.

I thought this was neat.  It had a reflection of Tyler on each side.  Sort of a ying-yang look to it.  The full picture is below.

Here are a few fun ones of the night.

Oh it popped!

Spring Photo Shoot

We did a little Spring photo shoot this morning.  I think I have 3 new pictures for my walls now.  I want to get a 20x20 Standout Mount of each of the boys and a 10x20 Standout Mount of the boys together.  Sometimes I wish I had more wall space, but that would compromise the wonderful yummy light that comes into my house so I can get pictures like these.  My house is filled with big awesome windows, but leaves little for wall space.  Now if it would just stop with the snow and cold so we could start heading outside for some fun shoots.  Here are my three faves.  I need to do a little more work on these to get the skin tones a bit more consistent before I print them, but was so happy with these that I just wanted to quick share some.

Here are a few more.  Had to do some bribing with treats.  Actually Tyler gets into this funny face more for pictures, which I don't mind because I can catch a few great natural smiles in the in-between moments, but he was a little extreme this morning so I said no treats until he settles down a bit.  These were some cute bunny faces they made at daycare.

The bribe for decent pictures.  I worked hard sorting and eating a few M&Ms.

Let the sugar high begin.  This was around 9:30 am.  Nothing like starting the morning off right.

I think Collin was stuffing some in his pockets.

A Little Easter treat

I got this recipe for these cute little Easter Nests thanks to my friend Genal.  (Click on Easter Nests to link to the recipe.)  Her mom and daughter made them and they were so adorable I just had to make them with Tyler last night.  It was super easy.  Disregard the terrible colored pictures.  Florescent lighting just isn't flattering.

WEEK 15 | PROJECT 52

I love this time of year.  The boys have been loving it too.  We have been outside a lot riding bike, playing in the sandbox, playing t-ball and foot ball, and playing at the park.  The house is getting a little neglected since we are out a lot.  This is a picture of Collin now getting to ride the big bike this year.

A Sign?

I hope this is a sign that spring is here?  My crocus are blooming.  I don't think I could handle any more snow.
