Blazing our...

own trail.  My aunts came to visit this weekend and we thought we would that a little drive out to Kathio State Park to do some snowshoeing and sledding.  It was great no one had been down the sledding hill since the snow storm.  So we had nice soft, fluffy hill to sled down vs the usual slick, hard hill of death that it can sometimes be.  We did have to watch out for the water at the bottom 3/4 of the hill.   I am not sure who had more fun the adults or the kids. These pictures are taken by my aunt Rhonda who has a great passion for photography too.

Here goes Collin on his first run down the hill by himself.

Oh there goes Tyler...oh...ah...

and he biffed it...good thing for soft snow.

Who said this was just for kids.
Their goes Tyler and Collin....looks like they are about to...
OH NO!  Poor Collin did a head plant right into the snow.
Thats gonna leave a mark.

Of course the big brother was laughing.
Wait for it...wait for it....
There it comes....

Waaaaahhhhh.....
Poor guy...we laughed sooo hard tho.  Don't worry I was running down the hill (laughing my butt off) to rescue him, even tho his great auntie was 15-20 ft away capturing this.  The fun was over for him.  It was off to the Interpretive Center to warm up and play with the Aisan Beatles that had come to live already.  While they did that the girls did some snowshoeing.

Here is my aunt Shelly and I snowshoeing.  We didn't get too far.  Shelly didn't quiet see the fun in it.  My aunt Rhonda and I did make the small loop by the Interpretive Center.

Shane and Tyler's great action shot.

Tyler was behind her and we think got a head to his little nose, but it didn't bother him.  Note to self, little kids are always in front.  Tyler thought this picture was pretty funny.

Making the most...

of a late March snow storm.  It was disappointing getting a big storm when the snow was pretty much gone.  Well least the kids liked it.  We finally got wet enough snow so they could attempt to make an igloo.  Okay, not they, but Shane.  I guess Tyler was supervising.  It sounds like it is going to get cold tonight, so I am guessing finishing it will be out of the question.  Well there is always next year (hopefully not this year yet).

WEEK 8 | PROJECT 52

I am soo slacking this week.  It's Friday and I haven't even done my P52.  We made some mohawks in the tub this week and I snapped a pic of Collin.  It was cute listening to him try to say mohawk.
